“The end of the year is almost here and with it brings a change to our team. Jared Tebo will no longer be representing Tekno RC after 2022. We’ve had four excellent and memorable years with Jared. We enjoyed learning and improving together as well as celebrating some big wins.
Piloting his various Tekno RC vehicles, he reached the top step of the podium 17 times at major events across the country. Add another 28 major event podium finishes along with a decent stint as the #1 driver in the world according to Top25.com, it becomes apparent that his time at Tekno RC has been very successful.
We would like to thank Jared for all of his positive contributions to Tekno RC, on and off the track. We wish him the best in the next chapter. Thanks, Jared!!!”

“Well, it’s a bittersweet post. I can now say that my time with Tekno RC will be ending at the end of 2022. It’s been a fun, challenging, and rewarding 4 year journey together. To be honest, it’s ending sooner than I was planning, or expecting, I thought I would end my racing career with them. Plans change and that is the job/industry.
I’d like to thank everyone at Tekno, from the owner, all the managers, the designers, my teammates, and the awesome warehouse/shipping guys. I will miss seeing that my order is literally shipped minutes after I place it. We worked hard, we all learned things together, and we had some great successes together. Winning the Reedy Race was INCREDIBLE, a moment I will never forget! I did my best to represent the brand well and offer my services the best I could, and I’m happy with the mark I left at Tekno!
On to new challenges and a new journey ahead! Change is always happening in life, and it’s exciting to embrace it. I will be continuing on with my racing career in 2023 and years to come I had some very good and exciting opportunities present themselves to me, I can’t wait to share them to you all. Dopo il successo dell’NB48 2.1, Tekno RC ha voluto che i propri della classe elettrico sperimentassero immediatamente gli stessi aggiornamenti, miglioramenti delle prestazioni e miglioramenti della durata dei piloti nitro. L’EB48 2.1 include molte delle stesse caratteristiche che si trovano sull’NB48 2.1, così come un miglioramento specifico elettrico. Oltre a continuare a utilizzare pacchi 4s full-size, l’EB48 2.1 ora fornisce un supporto eccezionale per pacchi shorty 4s.

Molti degli aggiornamenti 2.0, come le torri degli ammortizzatori riviste, la carrozzeria aggiornata, le Ackerman spindle plates, le camme dei freni offset, il supporto alettone alto, i differenziali più resistenti e i rinforzi del telaio, sono di serie sull’NB48 2.1. I progettisti di Tekno RC hanno creato bracci posteriori e mozzi completamente nuovi con centro di rollio regolabile, estendendo i bracci già più lunghi del settore a un’incredibile lunghezza di 112 mm. Hanno realizzato un nuovo telaio che ha notevolmente migliorato la maneggevolezza del buggy. Un nuovo supporto differenziale centrale ad incastro migliora la risposta del freno riducendone la complessità. Sono stati sviluppati nuovi differenziali e molle posteriori compatibili anche con le versioni precedenti.
La nuova geometria dell’avantreno è una delle modifiche più rivoluzionarie alla piattaforma 2.1. In Tekno RC sapevamo che allungare il collegamento del camber anteriore avrebbe migliorato la stabilità e la prevedibilità, ma un collegamento del camber quasi della lunghezza del braccio non era mai stato tentato prima in un automodello con mozzo a C. Hanno provato per anni e hanno creato diversi prototipi che miglioravano significativamente la maneggevolezza ma non erano abbastanza resistenti o non fornivano le regolazioni di configurazione desiderate. Ciò fino a che hanno escogitato un design completamente nuovo che soddisfaceva tutti i requisiti.
