Dopo solo un anno di contratto con AKA (news), il campione del mondo 1/8 off road 2012 Robert Batlle ha annunciato la cessazione delle sue attività come pilota ufficiale del marchio di gomme americano. Di seguito le parole del pilota spagnolo pubblicate sulla propria pagina facebook:
“It is moment to let you know that I will not be AKA driver for 2018, our one year relationship has been really succesfull getting the Euro’s, Spanish Nats and Montpellier Gp titles. I really appreciate all the hard work aka people has done for me, specially Mark Pavidis to help me during all year to understand better the tires and Bernard for Euros support. I have new goals for this upcoming years. Thank you so much to Joel and all AKA people, I wish you the best!”
